LATEST NEWS

What a year 2012 was for us all in the UK. The Olympic games will be remembered as such a great time.....wonderful sport, of course, but also the great atmosphere around the country. We were left with a feeling of success, optimism, friendship and achievement!

We will not remember 2012 as a great year for the weather! Probably the wettest year since records began......but if you want 30 degrees and sunshine every day you would not be looking at my website and thinking about coming to England for your holidays!

What you will find here in England in 2013 is a very warm welcome, wonderful gardens and castles, lovely beaches, pretty historic towns and so much to see and do!

In 2012 we were so pleased to welcome back so many previous guests who we now look upon as our friends and also to meet so many lovely new guests. Unfortunately the garden was not used as much as usual or as much as we had hoped due to the weather! There were not many warm summer evenings to sit and enjoy a glass of wine but, of course, this year there will be many!

On a personal note we have much to look forward to in the coming year! We are to become grandparents for the first time! And not just once but twice as our daughter is expecting twins in March!

We often think of retiring....but it will not happen just yet! We are hoping for a busy season ahead( bookings so far are looking good with some dates fully booked already!) and look forward to meeting old and new friends.

We wish everyone a Peaceful and Happy New Year.
